This recreated farmstead provides a hands-on view and exploration of agricultural practices, domestic life, and daily activities from the turn of the century.
As you stroll through the farm, you’ll encounter buildings including a family house, school house, church building, general store, drug store, log cabin and outbuildings including a blacksmith shop. You will see livestock including cattle, sheep, pigs and chickens. There is a windmill in the park. We viewed the sugar cane. Take a moment to reflect on how life was with its challenges and triumphs in the late 19th century.

The Alabama Agricultural Museum features farm life artifacts of the 1890’s. They also have a gift shop available to buy that special memento of your visit. They are open from Wednesday to Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and on Sundays from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
