What are some best travel adventures to go on?

That is a great question! It depends on what you enjoy doing.
If hiking is the thing you enjoy there are many amazing State and National Parks to travel to. Incidentially, did you know that the Great Smoky Mountains National Park has 348 hiking trails! The Appalachian Trail is approximately 2200 miles long and some segments of it are in the Bryson City, Swain County area. We hiked at Providence Canyon State Park, home of Providence Canyon and it was awesome! Opens in a new tab.

So, the best answer I can recommend is for you to go where your enjoyment level is the highest and then make your traveling plans around it.

I don’t have enough time in my life to travel. Where do you suggest that someone like me travel to?

I can understand. I would suggest traveling locally on your days off and then gradually extending your traveling area as you can. Go camping. Go fishing. Go swimming. Go hiking. Plan for a day trip or a weekend getaway to a nearby city or town. While there go to mom-and-pop stores, go antiquing, patron the cafes, go to chocolate shoppes and have a snack, walk the downtown shoppes, stop by an old-fashioned ice cream shop and have a banana spilt. Here’s a suggestion check out ApalachicolaOpens in a new tab.. Visit a museum. Your job is important but don’t make your job your life! Enjoy some time for yourself and travel!

Do you travel by air?

It depends on the amount of time that I have allotted to go on my journey. If traveling a great distance and would like to spend most of my time enjoying my destination, then certainly flying would be the best and faster recourse.
If I’m doing a road trip, then of course driving would be the best option. I can see tons of places off the beaten path.

Have you ever rode a train on any of your adventures?

Yes! I rode the Great Smoky Mountains Railroad and enjoyed each minute of the 4 and 1/2 hour ride! Read my blog titled “What is so Amazing About Bryson City and the Great Smoky Mountains Railroad?Opens in a new tab.

Why should I take time to read your travel blog?

I take my blogging very serious and I put in many hours of writing, taking photos and editing in my blog. I blog during the week after I get off my fulltime job. Some nights I begin at 7 pm and blog until 12:00 am. Blogging includes writing, taking photos and editing photos. I usually take the photos on weekends or on my days off. Editing photos is a long process but a very worthwhile endeavor. I tend to be a perfectionist so I read over my articles multiple times making corrections as needed. But I love doing all of these processes! I blog about places that my family and I have traveled to. I want to share my experiences with you. You may or may not be able to physically go to these adventures, but online you can see the trip that we took. I write the good and the bad to give you the facts so that one day you might physically make the trip yourself! Based on the above, that is why you should read my blog.

Do you blog full-time?

No. I blog primarily as a hobby. I have a full-time job where in exchange for 40 hours of work I get paid a check. So in my off time, I blog at night and on the weekends. I love to share my adventures and travels with others! But my goal is to one day blog full-time.

What type of camera do you use?

A Canon Rebel EOS T7i Digital SLR camera with an 18-55 mm stabilizer lens. I also take photos with my Samsung Galaxy S8+ which gives excellent quality.

Do you use a special camera lens?

Yes. A Canon EFS 55-250mm lens with image stabilizer is used to capture very unique photo shots.
